clasqm It works if you are a developer and if you build "repo" for developers.
An ordinary user just wants ONE solution that works as they experienced with it by using it.
Different methods requires different methods in installation process, in config,
and finally removal, and upgrading as well.
This way I like package manager in Terminal, and hate using web UI, to separately download,
to store somewhere ( if neded a reinstall), then install, separately, selecting exactly where to install,
config ... and so on. Not mentioning pre-requisites, if any.
Conflicting packaging is pain-in-the-ass, I agree on it, but since then there is FlatPak, so no worries,
just should implement those similar in the package manager to select such version if package
conflicting comes up, and the system can bear such library/software in more versions without an issue.
