coreutils 9.11-2 for x86_64 from HaikuDepot seems to be corrupted. After I installed it with pkgman, all the trusty posix commands gave me nothing but missing symbols.
YMMV of course, but if you are going to upgrade to it, try to have an older version (probably 9.11-1) handy so you can revert to that.
