Read text copied to the clipboard using TrackRunner and pipertts (available in Spritz Depot https://spritzdepot.desktoponfire.com/ )

You can do this from Terminal, but it can be just a right-click away with TrackRunner.
Make a new command in TrackRunner called "Read The Clipboard" (or whatever you like) and use this as the Command-
clipboard -p |pipertts -m en_US-john -t

Then select some text and right-click anywhere on the Desktop

You all know Clipdinger, right? It is the Haiku-native clipboard manager. But what if I told you that it can serve as a useful workaround for GTK ports that don't play nice with the Haiku clipboard?

Is this the fastest way to uninstall an HPKG?

First, search for it from the Deskbar

When it comes up as a search result, just double-click it. If you have multiple copies of the file on your system, e.g. there is another one in your downloads folder, it doesn't even matter if you selected the one in /boot/system/packages. Any one will do.

Almost done. Now just click on the Uninstall button in the top right corner.

Done.
